Understanding Exclusive-Rights Free Agency
Exclusive-rights free agency means a team has first-opion to match any offer if another club contacts de'vondre campbell. If no offer is filed, he is free to negotiate with any team after a short window.
Because he has accrued enough seasons, he cannot be restricted, but his limited history keeps him at the ERFA level for one more cycle.
2025 Market and Team Interest
Several contenders value his versatility and special teams reliability. Analysts map interest by cap room and defensive scheme, highlighting who would re-sign him quickly versus who may wait to see pricing.
Teams with Notable Interest
Clubs that run aggressive front sevens and need depth at linebacker are most likely to pursue campbell on the open market.
Contract and Cap Considerations
His previous deal was structured as a performance-based tender, which keeps the numbers modest but still serviceable for a starter role. Teams must weigh veteran minimums against production when budgeting for 2025.
Because he is an exclusive-rights free agent, any offer sheet would require the original team to match or lose him without compensation.
Performance and Value Analysis
Campbell consistently delivers solid tackle numbers, contributes on coverage downs, and limits big plays in the box. His strengths align best with schemes that emphasize disciplined run fits and flexible slot usage.
