Overview of The Bachelor TV schedule
The Bachelor is a long-running ABC reality series that typically airs during the winter and spring seasons. New seasons usually premiere in January or early February and run for roughly 10 to 12 weeks. Episodes air once or twice per week, depending on the season format. To know when The Bachelor will air, first check which season is active and whether it follows the standard ABC network pattern or a variation due to special editions or scheduling shifts.
Standard ABC broadcast details
Usual network and time
In most regular seasons, The Bachelor airs on ABC. The typical time slot is 8:00 to 9:00 PM Eastern Time (ET), often on Mondays or Tuesdays. In later seasons of the same cycle, the show may move to Wednesdays or adjust by one hour. Exact local start times can vary by time zone and affiliate, so it is best to confirm locally via TV listings or the network schedule.
Local affiliate and time zone considerations
Because The Bachelor airs on ABC affiliates, your local station may shift start times to align with regional preferences. Eastern and Central zones often see the network feed air close to the Eastern Time slot, while Mountain and Pacific zones typically delay accordingly. If you ask when will The Bachelor air in your area, the reliable approach is to check your channel’s published weekly schedule for the exact local time.
How to find the current season air dates
Official sources and on-air guidance
For the most dependable information, consult ABC’s official schedule page, the ABC app, or your cable provider’s guide. On-air promos before and after the episode will also state the next air date and time. These sources are updated in real time and reflect any schedule changes due to special events or adjustments.

Planning around special editions and schedule shifts
Phenomenon and crossover events
Occasionally, The Bachelor schedule is affected by special editions, franchise crossovers, or event programming. During these periods, the show may air on different days, be rescheduled, or have split episodes. When a season premiere or key finale coincides with major television events, ABC typically announces the adjusted time slot well in advance through press releases and on-air promotions.
How to never miss an episode again
To stay reliably informed, set recordings via your DVR or streaming service, enable notifications on the ABC app, and check your network’s weekly schedule each Sunday. If you are asking when will The Bachelor air during a specific season, confirm the premiere week on ABC’s official announcements and trusted entertainment outlets to lock in the correct day and time for your region.
